Certainly makes a lot of sense to me plus you now have two aircraft to play around with. I wish you all the best on your journey to Oshkosh. I also hope to be able to follow your adventure on my computer (as with your 2009 trip to Sun-N-Fun) and look forward to reading an article about the whole endeavor. Subject: CARBMATE TS-111 ATTACHMENTS TO 912?
    From: "Goodone" <goodone41@verizon.net>
I am considering the purchase of a Carbmate TS-111 for use in synchronizing the carburetors on my ROTAX 912 UL. The basic TS-111 seems to come with cable to connect it to your battery and two lines to connect to the engine. Must I purchase an adapter kit to attach the vacuum lines to the 912 or is the basic Carbmate TS-111 all that I need? Thanks for any info that you can provide. Hi Guys, Thanks for all the help... Don't know how I survived before I found the Matronics Lists... Compared the various spec sheets and had my self convinced that the Napa "Anaerobic Gasket Maker, Napa Part #765-1189" Would do the trick. Just got off the phone with the tech guys at Permatex (877-376-2839). They said... the Napa Anaerobic Gasket Maker, Napa Part #765-1189 is the replacement part for Loctite 574... Nuf said. Roger... This for the engine of Jim Hefner's old (now my) Firefly. Thanks again everyone. It is easier with the two adapters that screw in to the manifold to connect the vac tubes to=2C then you only have to undo one end of balance tube and block off. Goodone: I have one, it works great. It is complete. You shouldn't need anything else for your 912.
