I always set spark plug gap at the minimum of the acceptable range (all engines) because when plugs wear, the gap always grows, never shrinks. -------- Thom Riddle Buffalo, NY (9G0) Kolb Slingshot SS-021 Jabiru 2200A #1574 Tennessee Prop 64x32 Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas A. The narrow plug gaps do aid in starting when cold, but usually the wider gap is better for summer running. It won't hurt to have a narrow gap in the hotter months, but it does tend to run better with a wider gap for hotter weather. If you are changing your plugs between 75-100 hours the gap shouldn't change but slightly. If you leave them in longer then they should be cleaned and re-gapped. I never leave a plug in longer than 100 hours. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az.
