I've been using Mobil 1 7500 Clean. It is readily available and on
the Rotax list of approved oils, and has the SL rating. I assume
therefore that it has the right additive package. Perhaps a rash
assumption!!! Any comment? Anyone else using this in a 912 UL? I
use it in my aging Toyota Rav4 as well, and it still gets good fuel
economy at 170000 miles. Nice to have the same oil for both.

Hi Jack,
That Mobile 7500 Clean is a car oil and a last ditch recommendation if no other
is available. You have zero protection for your flat tappet lifter and gearbox.
There are no additives in this oil to help your engine. It is not a motorcycle
oil. Get rid of it and use one of these.
You have to use a semi synthetic for 100LL and you can use a full or semi synthetic
for 91 Oct unleaded.
These are all motorcycle oils.
Amsoil 10-40 or 20-50
Mobile 1 Racing 4T 10-40
Mobile 1 V-Twin

Golden Spectro 4 semi 10-40 or 20-50
