I have been told that the carb is the same as one some BMW motorbikes and it occurred
to me that I might be able to purchase a gasket set locally in Colordo
Springs or Denver. Would any one happen to know the year/model/serial number
of the BMW bike?
Thanks, Paul

The gasket is likely the same as the one used on BMW R75, R80, R90, and R100
from 1973 to 1995.

Paul, Why don't you go to the Bing Agency at http://www.bingcarburetor.com/.
They're in Kansas so shipping should be cheap.

If it is a Bing 94 carb, regardless of which BMW it is on, the float bowl
gasket should fit.

Hi Paul
"Would any one happen to know the year/model/serial number of the
BMW bike?"
I think it's the same as my 1988 R100GS BMW. You can probably
purchase from Bing and even buy one of their kool carb parts tins and
official manual at the samr time though. I used to buy BMW stuff
