Hugh,
I would imagine you could use an ohmmeter to check your "P" leads to make
sure they are working properly at the switch (ie: grounding out)
In my case I solved the dieseling by removing my 'heavy" Warp prop and
going to the lighter Kiev. It hasn't diseled once since then.

Dick, thanks for the info. My prop is the same one that I installed on
the engine when it was new (Wood Comp Klassic 160/3/R) 63=9D three
blade. I know the prop is not the problem. I will check the
=9CP=9D Leads for proper grounding.
