Subject: | Re: Rotax 914 fuel pressure |
Hi Roland,
I don't think anyone will laugh, certainly not us flying LH and questioning
about the right position to switch fuel selector to reserve when short
petrol: no written indication, a bit of stress which could turn into panic
and engine starves... Fortunately it was a "what if" game between us and the
positive result was to put a scheme of the selector on the console between
seats before next fly.

Okay - something embarrassing to admit and I can almost hear you all
laughing at me. I take it as a man.
For those who do not know yet: Sufficient fuel pressure cannot be
established without opening the fuel selector (which is certainly closed,
when the aircraft is stored in the trailer).
Anyway thanks for your replies!
Roland
