Richard: Will you direct us to an exact link that has a UMA Hobbs Meter that records at over 2800 RPM? I searched ACS and nothing popped up. Barry,=0A--- I have the 2 1/4" Air Core 270=B0 Movement with just the bear wires from the rear of the instrument. The Yellow wire is the 12V (tu rned on automatically) Output at 1800 RPM. The Wiring diagram below shows a 9pin Sub D connector with pin 4 showing the Taco output. I hope this helps .=0A-=0Ahttp://www.umainstruments.com/pdf/UMA_DB9-Tach_wiring.pdf=0A- =0A-=0Ahttp://www.umainstruments.com/Tachometer.htm=0A-=0A=0A=== ==================0A=0ARichard Wheelwrigh t=0A======================= =======================0A=0AFro m: FLYaDIVE <flyadive@gmail.com>=0ATo: rotaxengines-list@matronics.com =0AS ent: Sunday, 24 June 2012, 13:01=0ASubject: Re: RotaxEngines-List: Hobbs Me ter=0A=0A=0ARichard: =0A=0AWill you direct us to an exact link that has a U MA Hobbs Meter that records at over 2800 RPM? -I searched ACS and nothing popped up.=0A=0AThanks,=0ABarry=0A=0A=0A=0AOn Sun, Jun 24, 2012 at 3:23 AM , Richard Wheelwright <rpwheelwright@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:=0A=0A-- If you have the UMA Taco, It has a yellow wire to connect to the Hour Meter, This produses power to the meter over 2800rpm, and is perfect.=0A>=0A>=== ==================0A>=0A>Richard Wheelwri ght=0A>=====================0A>=0A> =0A>From: Ellery Batchelder Jr <elleryweld@aol.com>=0A>To: rotaxengines-lis t@matronics.com =0A>Sent: Saturday, 23 June 2012, 22:18 =0A>=0A>Subject: Re : RotaxEngines-List: Hobbs Meter=0A>=0A>=0A>You can hook it up-with -th e oil pressure sensor so it will only run when it has oil pressure=0A>=0A>E llery Batchelder Jr.=0A>-----Original Message-----=0A>From: Damien <dgraham 7@TWCNY.RR.COM>=0A>To: rotaxengines-list <rotaxengines-list@matronics.com> =0A>Sent: Sat, Jun 23, 2012 5:14 pm=0A>Subject: RotaxEngines-List: Hobbs Me ter=0A>=0A>=0A>Hello. Richard: Yes, it does help. I did find the HOURMETER on ACS. The ACS site does not mention the RPM when it starts recording nor do they mention if a sensor is required. They are becoming more and more of a catalog shop and loosing contact with the builders. Thanks Rich, Barry On Sun, Jun 24, 2012 at 1:39 PM, Richard Wheelwright < rpwheelwright@yahoo.co.uk> wrote: > Barry, > I have the 2 1/4" Air Core 270=B0 Movement with just the bear wires > from the rear of the instrument.
