I have never seen threads damaged taking it out. If you hand thread it back in it won't get stripped. It is in the case side and not the gearbox. There is no crush washer and is only a metal to metal seal. So if you were to screw the threads up it would be very expensive to fix. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Toss them and move on with the new modules. I would be absolutely shocked if both failed they are pretty reliable. I have seen one fail, but not both at once. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Take care when tightening and you'll never have to replace it again. Best regards, Robert Borger, President Geowhiziks & Doodlebugging, Inc. It is a #40 Torx. If you use an Allen you'll strip it out. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Light Sport Repairman - Maintenance Rated Rotax Repair Center - Heavy Maint. When I try to go to full throttle, it starts cutting out. I've replaced all fuel lines and filters and rebuilt the fuel pump. The problem occurs with the elec. pump on too. The carb floats seem to working properly and needles look good. Any ideas on what to check next? This started happening after somewhat of a hard pull-up to 70 degs. or so, then leveling off. The motor is in pusher config. in a Kolb Mark III. I'm stumped.
