Hi Chaps. Before doing the job i carefully looked a it, the sides of the hole they were flat and the best fit seemed to be Allen Key , as the side of the hole had no inward curves, it hard to tell it may have been worn, but looked more Allen key, i used an Allen key on a 1/4" socket extension which did the job, I have a question, Why can,t i put some Araldite on the little "Allen Key adaptor Bit" and knock it tightly into the hole and let it set. So next time i can put my hard metal socket on the hard metal key inset in the plug.? Alan Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=383149#383149

Alen: The EPOXY will more than likely be softer than the material of the plug. But, if the edges of the plug are deformed, yes, give it a try. As they say : "It can't houit". Question(s): What is the plug made of? What is the threaded hole made of? Is there a Heli-Coil in the threaded hole? I think the solution is very simple for all these problems. Hi Alan, I think it would be better to just do it the right way. It will save you time, effort and money in the long run. The 16mm hex head mag plug would be the better way to go. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Light Sport Repairman - Maintenance Rated Rotax Repair Center - Heavy Maint. Why complicate things? Do it the right way, and forget all this adapter/epoxy nonsense.
