Be sure to put a reverse biased diode across the coil of the starter relay as this will prolong the life of your switch; if you're not sure how to do that I can send you a diagram. The diode short circuits the relay coil when you release the switch so that the stored magnetic energy in the coil 'recirculates' in the coil and dies down, rather than keeping an arc going across your switch contacts and burning them. You might also consider the Aeroelectric Connection also here on the Matronics forums. Bob has two proven electrical architectures for Rotax engined aircraft. Easier than inventing something new and Bob's book will give you great insight into how to efficiently herd electrons about.
