Alan,
I have exactly the same problem since the previous engine had an overboost. What
you described definately occured since then. I also got the information from
Rotax, that the Flydat has to be reset to solve this problem. Rotax Franz (Germany)
does that for free (except shipping) as far as I know.

Hi Roland.
That,s right, i have to send it to a rotax agent in the UK and i think the reset
is free, I am happy the engine is OK, as its been like it for more than two
years, so i am not worried, but as i have it , i will get it reset.
the last time i was airborne was the 11 December, New Clamps, will send you photo,s
.
