Yes I did. We are now going to strip everything, to see if possibly there is
a bit of junk floating around somewhere.

Flynn,
I had that problem once and finally narrowed it down to the carb operating
cables. One would stick during throttle reduction causing an imbalance. I
replaced the cables and problem solved. I tried to lube them first but that
didn't work well.
Just another idea.

Hi Dick,
You're right and one thing we never seem to think about very often on the up front
side of an issue. Cables on engines that are getting older or live in humid
climates can get a little sticky. Just a little bit of friction from rust, corrosion
or even just a slightly bent cable will cause carb unbalance.

Although it did not show up during the balancing, it is worthwhile
looking at it again.

Hi Roger, we think we have the cable's covered, but as Vernon said we will
for sure double check.

Blow the carbs out with carb cleaner and then follow it with air pressure air.
Don't blow against the diaphragm with high pressure air.
