      Here I use this all the time and so does many others. No mods necessary. This works
      even with the stock Rotax airbox.

      I have never soaked mine and just rubbed them down well with White Lithium Grease
      on the edges and face. No globs. I've never had a leak. I can replace my gaskets
      then and there. If you have to soak them that takes hours. White Lithium
      grease is compatible with oil and fuel and should be what you use on "O" rings.
