Hi hugh as a ammeter has to be connected in series with the output of the r egulator I think the output is probably 30 amp which will be greater than t he digital meter usually 10 amp. You can get a cheap analog DC 30 amp ammeter with a seperate shunt from eba y and connect that. Alternatively you can get a relatively cheap DC 30-0-30 amp clipon ammeter again from ebay and clip over regulator output cable or battery cable will no be very accurate but probably ok for your needs Clive Get Outlook for Android<https://aka.ms/ghei36> From: owner-rotaxengines-list-server@matronics.com <owner-rotaxengines-list -server@matronics.com> on behalf of Hugh McKay <hgmckay@bellsouth.net> Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2018 4:24:20 PM Subject: RotaxEngines-List: Rectifier/Regulator Charging Current (Amps) Mea surement How can I measure the amount of battery charging current being put out by t he Rotax Rectifier/Regulator using a digital multimeter?
