What is the manufacturer's recommendation? IF they say it's okay, you're
good to go. I've only used the blue silicone hose on coolant lines and the
stuff, though pricey, is amazing. After 15 years on a 582 install (with a
lot of outside time) it's still as supple as new. Over time it pays off in
replacement costs and time spent. For your application I would recommend
you run fire sleeve over it though.
