Thanks for everyones comments regarding the use of silicon tubing for the oil return
line which would seem not to be a problem.
Brians remark about all hoses not having the same characteristics is a valid one
but I will be using the same quality and type that is on the oil inlet line.

The Rotax Installation Manual lays out the required specs on oil hoses. As
far as heat, silicone is usually better than rubber (@500F vs @375F).
Another spec is resistance to vacuum (hose collapse). I don't remember what
else is discussed. Check the Installation Manual against the specs of the
hose you are considering.
