We ordered the deluxe ( 2 piece) bar from Sporty's. It worked great before we installed the wheel pant but didn't have the spread when the wheel pant was installed. We cut the attachedment tubes ( that go over the allen bolts). Just need to ensure that the tubes are square and about 1/2" longer - each. Please advise if there are any concerns I should consider before I commit to it. Just wanting to verify I owe you $2,750 remaining on my order. Please advise. Any additional info you can share about using the data logger will be of interest. I assume I will need a portable PC to connect with the ACS controller. I am interested in getting data off the ACS for flight testing early on in the flight testing phase. Can you share the name or email of anyone already doing this? Use a 5/8 dia tube and it works fine. I also had to install the diode to isolate the PTT switch or I got a sharp left bank when I talked. Of course I just shut it off when talking until I got it installed. Only problem I have is my trim knob is not centered which requires adjustment at the servo and I just don't want take the wingtip off right now while the sun is shining. Right now I get more right turn than left using the trim knob but its no big deal. I see no good reason to install it anywhere else. Wish I had bought one years ago. This is the way I have done business all my life, I know is not that way any more. . Dont't promise something if you are not sure. Second if you cannot fulfil, your promise the least you can do, is notify the customer immediately..... No problem, I just order from some one else... They used to until about 6-7 months ago, but as is far to common these days in the government, budget cuts have forced them to give up that service. The notams could give accurate raim outages up to I think 60 hours in advance. It would be nice to have that service again, but as with the raim notams, the flight service days are numbered too. - Thanks for the info Ralph. I can get the GPS Raim prediction notams for the military airports but not civil. Anyway UPSAT are going to upgrade the operating program in my GPS for free and that may reduce the number or RAIM messages I get. They are also down-sizing our FSS operations here in Canada. You are all invited!! 4800 X 80 ft turf. 33/15 250 ft elevation. Frequency: 122.75. The event will be held in 'Lower Slobovia', the south end of Slobovia Outernational Airport. As usual at private, non-commercial fields, pilots operate at their own risk. (RSVP to Charlie at: cengland@netdoor.com ) Camping on the field is fine. We also have a lot of floor space for anyone who is willing to trade a little privacy for air conditioning. We will have BBQ pork, burgers, & hot dogs for lunch on Saturday. For those who arrive Friday and/or stay 'til Sunday, we will poll the attendees for preferences: Pizza, Catfish, etc are all close to us. We will probably do coffee/juice & pastries for breakfast. Slobovia is about 10 miles NNW of Jackson MS on Highway 49 N. Jackson is pretty much in the center of the state, about 180 miles from the coast, about 190 miles south of Memphis TN, and about 90 miles west of Meridian MS.. We are ~10miles north of HKS, or ~6 miles west of the JAN vor on the 258 radial. HKS (Hawkins Field) & the JAN vor should be in all the aviation databases - on the Memphis Sectional .If any of you are thinking about driving, please contact me for directions because the online mapping services don't get it right for the critical last leg to our driveway. Seminars on Saturday will be dismantling Herb Sander's donated 12A engine, and a demo of the new engine/air data computer from Real World Solutions. We are really looking forward to seeing ya'll next weekend. ________________________________ Message 11 ____________________________________ Time: 06:57:56 PM PST US From: "Cy Galley" Subject: Re: RV-List: improper Cleveland brake caliper assembly --> RV-List message posted by: "Cy Galley" Sam, I'd like to make all our builders aware of the potential problem.
