I changed it to flush head after ordering new screws and dimpled nut plates. K1100-6 I believe. Hope this helps. I do think the screws need to protrude all the way through the nut plates so a couple of threads show when installed, same as for a regular nut. Marty in Brentwood TN Do not archive

    --> RV-List message posted by: Mark Phillips <ripsteel@edge.net> I ground a flat on the side of a set of dimpling dies almost in to the dimple recess, then polished it smooth- using your C-frame, carefully line up the flat side of the dies with the threaded boss on the nutplate and dimple. Works "most" of the time!
