--> RV-List message posted by: "John Paulich" <jpaulich@earthlink.net> Van's Transition Flight Training pilot Mike Seager is making his annual trek to Sun-n-Fun with one of Van's company's planes. There is no transition training at Sun-n-Fun since Mike is busy giving demo rides. Just prior to Sun-n-Fun 2004, however, Mike will be at Naples, Florida (Naples Airport KAPF) to offer transition training to builders that are getting close to completing their projects. There are still time slots available on Sunday, April 11th for this training. Mike asks that pilots signing up for training be current. Van's website indicates that the transition training typically goes 2 or 3 sessions. Cost for the training is $40/hr for the plane (hobbs time) and $50/hr for Mike (figure 1.2 hrs for a lesson, including ground school). Pilots wishing to avail themselves of the transition training can contact me to schedule their timeslots. I can be reached via email at jpaulich@earthlink.net or by phone, 239-261-0544. 03/25/2004 07:52:20 AM --> RV-List message posted by: tacaruth@ralcorp.com Hi All, I am at the stage of planning wire routing from the main spar to behind the control panel on a 7A for antenna leads and other wiring. I was planning on running the wires from the spar to the firewall under the F782C floor cover and then up the firewall. My question is how to get around the firewall recess. The floor cover needs to be removable so a hole with a gromet would not work. Maybe a U-shaped slot with a gromet at the bottom of the "U"? Would the wires then be attached to the firewall with wire ties? Is this the preferred routing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom

--> RV-List message posted by: David L Ahrens <daviddla@juno.com> Hello to list members, Just a quick shameless plug to let you know that their is a Pitot tube listed on e bay. It is a heated unit off of a 1973 Cessna 150L, 12 Volt working heater. I used a piece of stainless tubing for my RV6A and I will not need this unit. The e bay number is 2469422076. Thanks, David Ahrens PS The first flight of my RV6A was Feb. 14, 2004. Just like everyone saids, it is worth it, keep building. RV6A, 0-320 and Sensenich metal propeller.

There must be lots of folks like me that sure need it. I have been getting a little burned out trying to get this thing done for the upcoming flying season. Fly safely, Dan Hopper RV-7A
