Jorge,
I had the Falcon brand AI and had good luck with it. The key to
a good life is to ALWAYS errect the gyro's first BEFORE applying power to
the instrument. If you do it by powering up the horizon from its resting
position takes some gyrations inside the instrument to get errected. I
had mine for two years before I sold the aircraft. My proceedure was to
grab the caging knob, pull it (gently) to errect the gyro and then turn
on the master power. Worked every time.

NEWS FLASH...
As of Wednesday June 20th the US has delayed implementation of the passport
requirement for six months. Looks like border crossing will be possible
without having even made an application for a passport (which was the
previous "delay" of full implementation)

They are tapered to match the angle of the seat back. There is no wasted

many exterior pockets that are easy accessible for the stuff you use for
preflight and other minor maintenance items.
One of the nice things I really like is the bags are designed with a
trough in the bottom that fits over the flap actuation bar. Setting bags
on the bar has always concerned me about adding a little undue friction
on the bar.

you need in one bag and use the other one as your "luggage" for personal

Yep, I think I read what I wanted to hear, not what it said. Checking the
US passport site it still says a passport or receipt for an application is
needed for air travel. I've been expecting the government to cave to
pressure from air travelers and the different industries affected by the new
passport rules and they did, but only for people traveling by boat or
land...

What is wrong with some of you people? So other people disagree and
call you an idiot. So what?! Who cares? It's not even words on a
page, it's just a handful of electrons temporarily displaying text on a
screen. Present your point, clarify and add detail where needed, then
leave it at that. Why on earth do you care what anyone else says. If
your right, and you have the ability to present your point well,
intelligent people will see that you are right. If stupid people refuse
to accept that your are right (assuming you are) that's their problem.
Who cares if stupid people remain stupid? In most cases it's inevitable.
As for those of you who have had enough, want to move to another topic,
and insist on posting to that effect, I have news for you. This is NOT
a crowded room full of people with megaphones!!! It is a mailing list,
just because a discussion is going on doesn't mean another can't happen
at the same time. If the subject truly is "beat to death", most people
will be deleting future posts anyway, so relax, and join those of us who
know and love the delete button.

Listers,
I am selling my emergency 'chute. It's a Strong Model 304 seat pack
with the 254 lb capacity canopy. Date of mfg is Sep '97. Like new
condition. I'm asking $750 which includes a fresh repack and shipping in
the U.S. Also included is the factory manual and carry bag.
I tried back pack and "wedge" type chutes and this was the most
comfortable. It replaces the seat bottom cushion in my RV-6 quite
nicely. The seat pack measures: 15" wide X 12" long (front to back) X 4"
thick.
If anyone's interested, e-mail me off-list and I can send some
pictures. I'm gonna wait a week or ten days then it goes on Ebay.

As you know, the key to keeping everything you need within reach in a small cockpit
can be a challenge to say the least. Our new Chart Case is designed to
fit on the floor, between the pilot and passenger, of your RV or production aircraft.

often used items (approach charts), and the remaining compartment zipped closed.
The extra portion of the top cover is tucked neatly next to the divider and
less used items are out of view and your cockpit will look sharp and organized.
.The Chart Case has two side map pockets designed to fit checklists, flight
computers, calculators, sectionals, WACs, and Jeppesen or NOS enroute charts.
Both of these pockets have Velcro straps to keep your items locked in while
transporting the Chart Case. The rear pocket of the Chart Case has a zippered
4 inch by 6.5 inch pocket for just about anything. The front of the Chart Case
has a multi-purpose holder for pens, pencils, smaller flashlights, and fuel strainers.
Attached to the front of the case is a durable carrying handle that
makes inserting and removing the Chart Case
simple. A removable over the shoulder carrying strap is also included. The chart
case is made of the same durable Curdura material found in our RV Flight Bags

I am selling my emergency 'chute. It's a Strong Model 304 seat
pack with the 254 lb capacity canopy. Date of mfg is Sep '97. Like new
condition. I'm asking $750 which includes a fresh repack and shipping in
the U.S. Also included is the factory manual and carry bag.
I tried back pack and "wedge" type chutes and this was the most
comfortable. It replaces the seat bottom cushion in my RV-6 quite
nicely. The seat pack measures: 15" wide X 12" long (front to back) X 4"
thick.
If anyone's interested, e-mail me off-list and I can send some
pictures. I'm gonna wait a week or ten days then it goes on Ebay.
