One has to justify being a sloppy pilot???
As far as I have been able to prove neither the Trio nor the Trutrak do
anything to prevent me from pouring coffee and other delectable's into my
lap and I'm fairly convinced that the sloppy thing is genetic. However,
under the recent trend towards non-sensical accountability measures I can
see genetic justification becoming a reality.
There is an alternative solution though which is to change my name to "Joe"
because it is my understanding that Sloppy Joes are already genetically
pre-justified. I also believe that having your father named "Carl" qualifies
as long as you are named "Carl's Junior."
In getting back to autopilot features one that I think the Trio boys are
working on is a circle to land option anytime the static port senses
hamburgers being barbequed within five miles of the intended course. And for
you Popeye fans you will not have to pay anything for this feature unless it
is Tuesday. As well the servo has a very nice option for a decorative napkin
dispenser.... every time you turn left a napkin pops out.

Subject: | Re: Off Topic: Hanger Lighting |
My workshop (30X80 for my RV-10) has two rows of 4 metal-halide lights
(400W each) similar to the ones in Home Depot's ceiling, and they're 10'
apart. They're in the center 40' of the workshop as I have some 'clean'
rooms on the 'wings'. I have them switched so I can turn on 1 pair at a
time to cut down on the electric bill. It's daylight inside at night!!!!

Is anyone besides me getting bombarded with multiple copies of the digest
below? E-mails to Matronics have gone unanswered.

Hello all,
I'm at the point on my RV-4 project that I have to cough up a wad of cash & buy
an O-320. I'm contemplating purchasing an experimental engine from one of the
following: Van's, Mattituck, or Aerosport. I live about 20 minutes from Matittuck,
so I'm leaning in that direction, any thoughts?

I've heard nothing but great things about Aerosport, but no experience
with them or any other. I'm a long way from needing things that go vroom ;)

YEP. Go for Mattituck if they are your Neighbors anyway. And if you are
unhappy for whatever unforeseen reason that may crop up, then you can go
to actually see them face to face to resolve the problem...

I'd say that's a givin, buy from Matittuck! I'd go there and build it if
you could, I think they have a program that allows you to do that.

Hey Hal,
I live in Mattituck and originally wanted to buy locally at the time but it was
less expensive for me to buy from Aerosport and pay the shipping than to drive
five minutes and pick it up from Mattituck. I have no idea how competitive
they are now. Aerosport has a good reputation and I have no regrets having bought
from them. There was only one or two times I had to contact Aerosport after
the purchase during the installation and they were very helpful. I would
suggest delaying buying from anyone for as long as possible because in my case
it was still about two years from purchase to first run.
Where are you building?
