Just burn the in-cockpit fuel first, then switch to mains. My airplane has always held more fuel than my bladder could hold excitement. Why would one punch the tank off? To go into battle? Certainly looks cool =2C but if one were to drop something=2C wouldn't practice bombs (e.g.=2C c andy (or pumpkin) filled 1 litter bottles with fins (flour would cause a sc are)) be more helpful? It was somewhere in the front of the cockpit..possibly in front of the rudder pedals but I forget. One evening he had some sort of problem, made a turn back to the airport, hit a utility pole and was engulfed in flames. Life support was removed a few days later.
