The airport doesn't officially open until Monday following the airshow.
They had previously said they would do everything they could to have it
available for GA landings. On the website this week it says "Fly-In tra
ffic
will not be permitted to the Branson Airport (BBG), but two nearby airfi
elds
will be available. Space is limited so please contact the following airp
orts
for details". And lists PLK as one of them and HRO at Boone County as th
e
other. It seems a bit off to me but not knowing the logistics, how coul
d I
say.

SNIP Then I just lifted it by the motor lift and installed the gear
legs and wheels.SNIP
I know that lots of people lift by the engine case lifting eye, but it's
much better to use the engine mount and appropriate nylon strap to lift
the whole fuselage! You'd not want to get your lift a bit off balance
and crack your engine case!

This is a big deal apparently as this airport is Corporate commercial. You
can check out the scheduled airshow here:
http://www.bransonairshow.com/
Also here it says no GA Fly-ins.
http://www.bransonairshow.com/ga-flyins.asp
Here is the link to the actual airport with web cams of the construction.
http://www.flybranson.com/
This airport opens on May 11th but the airshow is May 8-10th.
