I did a roll to the left and the stick jerked back and forth 2 or 3 inches at first part of roll, rapidly maybe 4 or 5 times, then was normal, never happeded before, did rt roll and it was ok. Anyone had this happen? any clues? ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:14:17 AM PST US From: "n801bh@netzero.com" Subject: Re: RV-List: Rolling my Rv6a It is that "new" stick shaker Airbus designed for RV's.. jus kiddin.. :<) do not archive Ben Haas N801BH www.haaspowerair.com ---------- Original Message ---------- From: "charlie heathco" Subject: RV-List: Rolling my Rv6a Yesterday I went up to test plane after OH my dead vac pump. So let me say that all the one's I have rolled with the stick at full deflection and medium to slow airspeed have exhibited stick" talk back", or mild jerking. quite unsellling but harmless. I speak with no significant aerodynamic credentials but with a data base of thousands of RV-6A aileron rolls worth of experience. You are experiencing normal roll buffet found in all RV's at max deflection. It is nothing to be concerned about. Although seems a bit violent from your description. Both of my RV's would just "pulse" feedback at full deflection. Especially to the left.
