Dean, For the record I know nothing about engines, however, sometime in the
last month I read about this type of problem online. If you have a sniffle
valve, check and make sure it is tight and working correctly. The valve
could be shot or loose.
Reduced pressure inside the manifold causes the ball to be sucked up to
close the valve when the engine is running, but it drops down and lets the
fuel drip out when the engine is shut down.

We have been flying with a Dynon D-10 and the Apollo GX55 for about 4 years
now without any problems at all. Very stable platform for instrument appr
oaches.
I hope that helps

Charlie,
Garmin is in essence no longer going to support for the GX 50/55/50/65
series. They are offering a $2000 trade-in on those units through the
end of the year for a 430W, etc.

There was some chatter awhile back on shippers ..... and a website for
cheapest shippers. I saved the information so well I can't find it!!!
I have an email out to Partain .... if he's still shipping.

Hmmm...
Thanks to everyone for their answers. This is starting to look like when
the surgeon came out & told the family, "The operation was a success,
but the patient died."
What does the discontinuation of support really mean? No repairs, no IFR
legal database updates, etc, or just no new software updates?
Thanks,
Charlie

There are no replacement display panels. When the panel dies the unit is
nothing but a spare parts unit. Garmin chose to not acquire any spares
beyond what they got when they bought the company.
