Guys, I'm in the final assembly of an RV-9A. Any ideas how to get the nuts on the lower outside NAS bolts? Did anyone remove the lower brake line fitting in the area for better access? I've got a few threads of the NAS bolt exposed beyond the landing gear weldment to gain a little more clearance for the nut. It also looks like I will have to jam a screw driver under the nut to keep it from turning when I tightening it - there is no room for a wrench. Anyone have an access hole on the side of the fuselage - I know this is extreme. Any ideas appreciated... Joe Connell RV-9A N95JJ

I had to bend up and grind an open end wrench (buy a cheap one from Harbor Fre ight) to get to that tight spot. Eddy Fernandez RV 9A 575 hours T.T.
