Now Im wondering what to do. I dont really believe the connection is bad but its the only thing I modified. Im trying to find this d sub form the daniels website but so far havent been able to. Do you think you could send me a link to the page? Thanks Shemp PS Ive also found my egts to be very sensitive and sometimes erratic when the lightspeed is on. Ive tested it with just the mag and they become pretty solid. You'll need a 4 point crimper but should be able to borrow one. You can always de-pin the connector if you need to pull the cable through the firewall. Interested pilots should join the Team RV 2010 Formation Clinic Yahoo Group <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TeamRV2010FormationClinic/> , access the DATABASE section and ADD A RECORD with the requested information. Participating pilots should have excellent stick and rudder skills. This clinic is only for RV aircraft. Sorry, no RV-10's, however we may consider including RV-12's if at least four RV-12 pilots sign up. We will not mix RV-12's with other models. All aircraft must be in excellent condition, have dual controls (throttle, stick and rudder), intercom, and PTT in both positions. No vernier throttles allowed! In addition to the normal paperwork required of all aircraft (registration, airworthiness certificate, POH, weight & balance), pilot certificate and current medical, you will need to bring proof of liability insurance. We will arrange for competitive rates at a hotel in nearby Salisbury, NC and will provide contact information via the Yahoo Group site. We will provide dinner on Friday evening, and lunch on Saturday. Fee for the clinic is $50 each, payable in cash or check when you arrive at RUQ. Further detailed information will be posted as it is available. Those with prior formation experience will be challenged at a level commensurate with your level of experience. Experienced pilots who wish to take a check ride to earn an FFI Wingman or Flight Lead card must secure a recommendation for the check ride prior to the clinic and request a check ride through the Yahoo Group forum not later than November 1st. Regardless of your level of formation expertise, you will find the clinic to be a challenging, rewarding and fun experience under the supervision of some of the best formation pilots in the business. Hope you can join us. BTW just a comment......A POH is not required in an RV or any Experimental aircraft. Good luck with your Clinic.
