Subject: | Fw: need dim for stock RV10 motor mount |
I have a friend who needs motor mount dimensions for a RV-10 -
specifically thrust line and prop flange distance from FW. I don't know
if they are provided in Van's Plans any longer or not (my old RV-6 plans
did have the motor mount dimensions). In any case, if you can help him
out or point him in the right direction, please respond directly to Ed
Klepeis via

Thanks

Subject: need dim for stock RV10 motor mount
Dear Ed
Do you know anyone out there in Rv land that has the thrust
line and prop flange/firewall distance for a stock RV 10. I have some
dim from a source which I have proven are off so I don't want to go by
those figures I don't know what other dimension may be off. I'm
building a motor mount for a RV 10 and I need good Dim - don't want a
mistake .Thanks for your help.

Bob,
I would highly recommend Mike Seager in Vernonia Oregon. I flew with Mike in the
Spring of 2010, the week just before I test flew my RV-8. The experience was
excellent; Easily the best time and money I've spent on the RV-8 project bar
none.
