Looking for a place to get my pitot/static/encoder/transponder certified. Getting
ready to start my instrument training in my 6A.
I heard Summitt in DE and Easton in MD but didn't catch any of the details...anyone
know the details for these two airports. Looking for Shop Name and phone
number.
I can fly to either but want to arrange to hopefully get it done while I wait.

I had some connections with Summit Aviation a number of years ago and I
believe that they are still the only company on the airport . They have very
well equipped shops and capable personnel. Just by coincidence, I talked to
the Company Vice President about 2 moths ago. They are involved in a 9+
million
expansion and expect to add 50 aviation technicians to the 120 already
working there. The telephone number is 302-834-5400. They are close to
Middletown,
just south of the ship canal and close to the canal bridge. I know that
they do General Aviation work and also have some Military Contracts. Give
them a call.
