Bobby,
Great, I have the tow bar and been very happy with it for 3 years, but
didn't know about the "pins", thanks for sharing that. I've been using
longer bolts with a couple nuts for use as the spacer.

I too have an RV-7A - took my wife and me 6.5 years to built it - wife did
the rivetting - she got to be an artist with an Avery 3X rivetting gun -
been flying it for 4+ years - have 441 hours on it -
Re a tow bar - I got mine from ACS - part # 13-01540 - current cost is
$53.95, weighs 3.75 lbs, is 45.5" extended and 26" collapsed - was designed
for larger Cessnas like the 182 and 210 - have travelled with it - just
remember you'll have to cut holes on both sides of the nose wheel pant -
works great
