    Subject: Archer Antenna in RV4
    I have an Archer antenna in mounted in the right wingtip of my RV-6A connected to a SL-30 and it works great. I am receiving VOR's 100 miles out. I took great pains to follow the install instructions and make sure it was well grounded at the wingtip. Also be certain your coax connector is installed cleanly with no stray wire that might short out.
