Subject: | Fuel Reserve Idiot Lamp Module |
Because my fuel gauges happen to be located on the right side of the panel I always
felt long term that I needed something in my routine field of view on long
cross country flights. I recently installed reserve idiot lights like most
cars have. What you will need are two each of the following items, a little 22
AWG wire, some crimp lugs and some solder. I set my initial trip point at 190
Ohms which in my case is about 2.5gal. The module has an antibounce circuit.

I felt that the LEDs needed to be nice panel mount ones, so I used these instead
of what came with the modules.

The instructions were okay except for the last part of section b). Method 1 for
our SW senders should be connected as described in Method 2. He has the hookup
information backwards.
