    Subject: Re: RV-10 Wing Wiring
--> RV10-List message posted by: "Tim Lewis" <Tim_Lewis@msm.umr.edu> My experience on the heated pitot/static tube: On my RV-6 I got significant static errors using the static ports on the heated pitot static tube. I eneded up abandoning the static line from the pitot/static tube, and using the static port location on the fuselage as depicted on the plans. This cut my static system error by 50% or more (as I recall... it's been a while). Wiring tube: I used the corrugated black tube that Van sells in my wings. It's light. I shot a string down the tube using compressed air, so that I can pull wires thru in the future, if I need to.
