There's definitely going to be a lot of RV-10 people to meet. That list just keeps growing, and fast. I'm sitting here editing it, watching my inbox, and everytime I add and save it and upload it, another person emails. It's flowing in nice. I'll probably slow down my updating to a couple times a day over the weekend so I can get work done on the kit too, so if you email me it might take a short time. There's a lot of talk about having dinners, too. I put some notes about this on the list page, but... It might be hard to coordinate an off-site dinner with this varied a group. Some of us might not even have ca rs available, and the attendance days are pretty scattered. Also, at SNF we found that people had parked all over the place and we had to scatter to drive to the restaurant...and try to FIND the same restaurant. But if we did a lunch, or early dinner onsite after the show, I think we could get a good sized group. If anyone else can coordinate something better though, please jump in. Even though I'm from the state, I don't know OSH well enough to know which restaurant we could go to that wouldn't already be too packed for a group. That's why I'm thinking it might be easiest to get precooked food on-site. Comments? Seats removed from Van! hamburgers / hotdogs sounds good to me too. Trick will be how to let everyone know exactly where to meet. I think we would actually get more together time by meeting in the campground. I can bring food and supplies. I don't have any way to cook. I only go camping once per year. At an airshow in Moose Jaw, Canada, two biplanes collided in flight, burned and crashed. Both pilots killed. My info has the team made up of Jimmy Franklin, Kyle Franklin, Rich Gibson, Jim LeRoy, John Mohr, Kent Pietsch, Les and Kent Schokley (jet-trucks), and Bobby Younkin. No names were mentioned in the article. Kent is scheduled to appear at Oshkosh and I imagine The Franklin's Jet Waco is scheduled as well. Condolensces to the families involved." Here's a link as well: http://www.saskatchewanairshow.com/main.php?group=/entertainment&action=/flying This is very sad for me, as from the sounds of it, two of my very favorite performers were lost. The Masters of Disaster show, that I first saw at OSH one or two seasons ago, was my favorite act since the disappearance of Bob Hoover from the show circuit, and the discontinuance of the turbo Raven act. The Jet Waco was always a fantastic act as well. I don't know who the 2 performers were, but if the Bulldog made it, there's not much left to choose between. This is really a sad day.
