To all: when you send me your info, don't forget to send some of the other stuff, like builder ID, hometown, webpage if you have one, and OSH dates. You can see a sample of it here: http://www.myrv10.com/osh2 This will make a great directory for other builders. Eventually I'd like to get a 10 builders only area with a little more content that perhaps would not be great to have open to the world. This list with phone numbers would be a good one....no need to get junk calls on your cell you know...that's why the protection. Most of the tool vendors sell wimpy little plates that are just too small. I've seen a number of complaints on this list about that. Any ideas on where I could pick up something like that? If it's wood or aluminum, I know where to go - but steel is something I don't know much about. Would a metal scrap yard have something like this? What have you guys done? Oshkosh Friday - Sunday. Bought a Ryoble (spelling ??) 9" but have to order blades from on-line source. Sears didn't have metal blades for their our bandsaw (Victorville Store) either. Bought two blades & they work great. For you RV-10 guys, will a 9 or 10 inch bandsaw suffice or are there many times you wish you had a 12 inch. I'll probably buy from sears or home depot. Any specific specs I need to look for??? I heard late last week that the waterjet cutting machine had broke, that was going to cut my panel for OSH.....so we had the guy ship the panel back in a hurry. I decided to cut it myself, (my buddy Steve, actually), using his mill. We sucessfully cut the panel Saturday, and then I mounted the radio stack today. It came out fantastic. I have to drill some switches and breakers, mostly in that bottom panel strip, but other than that, most of the drilling is done. I'm going to paint it up and then we'll be wiring during the week this week. On track to show it to y'all at OSH!
