I heard it was one of the 1/8" reinforcing angles that was missing plus the VS rear spar wasn't bolted except at the very bottom. Either way your comment is on target - get another set of eyes and double check the plans. May be even more important on the -10 since you don't have to scour the plans and make a bunch of parts and you certainly shouldn't have anything left over. You can also make a porp paddle. Think of a paddle with a blade sized hole in the middle. That is what the porp builders. Also you can add some air pressure to the inside of the hub where the oil pressure goes to work it when it is on the engine. My bends are just a tad less sharp as those in the figures, so signs of cracks or fatigue in the metal.
