We don=92t feel the need for a Yaw Dampener, although that can be added to the Sorcerer as well. We wanted to have the Nav function (VOR/LOC/ILS/GS). This thing makes flying that much easier. When on a descent, just hit the VNav button, your target altitude, then over what distance you want to descend to that altitude and it will make it happen. On climb-out, you can set your target altitude and either get their by VS or by IAS. It really takes the guess-work out of flying. The Nav function we haven=92t tested yet, but are looking forward to trying it out. If it works anything like the other functions, that will be awesome. Jesse Saint I-TEC, Inc. As some of you know he is building up my Lycoming IO-540X and it will be on display at his booth in Building C all next week. He just got it off the dyno and it came in at 272HP and that's with a inlet temperature of 100 and fuel temp of 118. Hot around here right now! Some notable specs on it include: - Airflow Performance FM-300 Fuel Injection - Dual LSE III ignition - 9:1 Pistons - Barrett Cold Air Induction - Forsling Exhaust Michael Sausen RV-10 #352 Working on Fuselage Do Not Archive Recent RV-10 Build Activity ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 08:43:10 AM PST US From: pilotdds@aol.com Subject: Re: RV10-List: TruTrak Plug It will be interesting to discuss your sorcerer success at osh.I have the ol d torque servos and they seem insufficient. It is likely my setup or user err or but I get constant "change pitch trim" indications and a lot of instabili ty. Finances don't permit at this point so I am hoping next year things may be different and allow me to make the flight to the U.S. I sincerely hope all from the list have a super time at this great event. Be sure to post photos of any new products relating to the 10. Fly safely. Great Signage by the way!. Did not mention either the Portapotties, trolleys or magestic oak trees. Nice Site Bob! I am now over in Manitowok (KMTW) to stage warbirds for the Sunday arrival. Will see you this weekend at 10AM or 2PM as Tim has posted. Lots of workers setting barriers, manning check points, watering flowers and trimming grass.... all that is missing is you Lurkers.
