Russ - Why couldn't you just lie to me and tell me the fairings are a piece
of cake? Between you and Tim I'm not looking forward to finishing them.
Looking forward to seeing your plane after the paint job. I hear nothing
but good things about the work Grady does at GLO. I have a Nov. 20 date to
take my plane to Allen in Brady for painting - assuming I have the fairings
finished by then.
LOE should have a great turnout of RV's. Hope to see you there.
Mark

I'm having Stein install avionics cooling fans for my panel but I also
have put in a couple of computer fans in the glare shield for defrosting
but I think this will also allow for some of the heat coming from the
avionics to vent through these holes. I've attached a photo of the holes
in my glare shield. The picture was before I installed the fans. I think
these holes will also help with the cooling process.

Wayne,
The glare shield looks great, very nice work. I wish I had prepped mine
better prior to putting on the windscreen. I got a little too exited about
making progress and it definitely made life tougher.

I have the exact setup, haven't installed yet though. I am planning an
AN822-4D fitting (Elbow with one pipe thread end) on the end of the
Gretz tube which then connects directly to the Safeair tubing.
Have fun,

Yeah, thanks. I went with that idea and just got my fitting, nut, and
sleeve in today from AS&S. Time to forge ahead with this so I can get the
skins fully riveted on.
