Someone made the motion that answers like this one that Jessie is needing should be sent to the sender of the message and not to the list. I want to second that motion. If it doesn't pertain to the whole list just send it to who it's intended for. My 2 cents worth :>} Wayne Edgerton #40336 do not archive

Subject: Attach Tailcone to Q/B Fuselage
    From: "Lloyd, Daniel R." <LloydDR@wernerco.com>
-What we did was to mark the fore and aft edges of the overlap, and then following edge distance requirements, we measured for the first and last bolt, then we divided the remaining distance into thirds and this gave us the spacing for #2, and #3 bolt, using the same centerline established by the first and last bolt. Make sense? Feel free to call me if you need some help Dan N289DT RV10E 724-988-9230 -----Original Message----- From: owner-rv10-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv10-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of AirMike Sent: Thursday, April 19, 2007 2:02 AM Subject: RV10-List: Attach Tailcone to Q/B Fuselage :? Help please anyone. Looking at 32-3 (Step 4) It shows the F-1046-R/L aleady pre-drilled. I understand from another post that there is some kind of template that is used for this operation in the std build kit. I never got it and Van's tech support is all at Sun-n-fun this week. Somebody left another note that said: The 4 bolt hole centers are 7/16 from the edge Aft bolt hole center is 3/8 from the aft end of the F1046 longeron Hole spacing is 3/4" center to center -------- OSH '08 or Bust Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=107861#107861

    From: "Chris Johnston" <CJohnston@popsound.com>
hey all - just thought i'd drop a note to the group about the AF3500 that i'm using as a backup efis system/engine monitor. i just picked it up from the ups depot (long story) and powered it up right in the car and played with it on the way home! safely of course... i could do this because i got the internal battery option. i gotta say, this is one super cool unit. i couldn't be happier. it's got all the stuff you'd want, and more. i'm particularly impressed with the weight and balance section of the unit, as i feel that this is an area that gets neglected by pilots. this thing is fast and cool. obviously i haven't flown with it yet, but i don't believe i'll be disappointed. just a note from a happy builder! cj #40410 fuse/finish www.perfectlygoodairplane.net do not archive

I would enjoy a picture of your Rosen mounting when you get them in. They are for a Piper. They mount To the Canopy Top on the outside where the bolts will be hidden when the doors are closed. You will not need a bracket. I don't know If Rosen will honor this price just by calling them up during the show. The regular price is around $350.00 for a pair. I think this is a winner Because they will also cover the door windows if you want. Good Luck, David Jones # 40331 working on wiring to panel
