Hey all - I'm doing my last-minute possibly go to osh thing again this year, and wondered if I should go. Are some 10ers going to stay around for the 28-29th? cj #40410 fuse/finishing www.perfectlygoodairplane.net

Hello, I am just about to close the baggage floors and just want to check if I really really am prepared to route everything through the underfloors that is necessary. Thats what I have: 2 standard Vans conduits left & right (from tailcone to side panels fuselage) they will route - plus battery cable - tail light - strobe l & r - COM antenna and probably also transponder antenna cable Static line Since I am not sure about my avionics I might need to route also the AHRS cable through it. Will that work? Feedback welcome. Michael -------- RV-10 builder (wings) #511 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=123302#123302

Chris, Looks like a lot of the folks in the RV-10 camping area will still be there Saturday but I would think most will leave Sunday morning sometime. Here's the link to the list of people in that area and schedule: http://www.myrv10.com/osh/OSH_2007_RV10HQ.jpg Bob Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=123304#123304

You've been there before, right? If not, I'd sell my mothers teeth to be there. Either way, the best plan for those who can is to try to be there in the early part of the week if you're there for the kitplanes, and the later part of the week if you're there for the airshow. The best show is usually Saturday from a feature presentation standpoint. From a homebuilt standpoint, lots of people would probably say the best show is hanging out in a lawnchair while the GA arrivals come in early in the week. That's something I'm really looking forward to this year. If it wasn't such a distraction to the pilots, it would be fun to hold up number signs to judge landings. ;) Tim Olson - RV-10 N104CD - Flying do not archive Chris Johnston wrote: > > Hey all - > > I'm doing my last-minute possibly go to osh thing again this year, and > wondered if I should go. There will probably be some kind of internet access for some of us there, and all will likely have cell phones, but it is likely that some plans will change a little during the trip there, so if someone can make it late in the week, then checking either on e-mail or calling one of the cell phone numbers, it is likely that there will be space opening up towards the end, I think. Michael, You listed everything that I have under the floors (but I haven't flown yet and could still fall out of the sky - only joking). I ran my strobe wiring down different channels from the other wiring. The conduit was really a blessing for the things I needed to add - ELT remote cable, baggage lights power, etc. John Testement jwt@roadmapscoaching.com 40321 Richmond, VA Paint prep and LOTS of misc stuff do not archive -----Original Message----- From: owner-rv10-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv10-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Michael Wellenzohn Sent: Wednesday, July 11, 2007 5:54 PM Subject: RV10-List: Closing baggage floors & rear seats floors --> <rv-10@wellenzohn.net> Hello, I am just about to close the baggage floors and just want to check if I really really am prepared to route everything through the underfloors that is necessary. In addition to whatever individuals might have, there is a small building over by the shower building where there are computers with internet access available for anybody at no charge. I also just talked with Dean Sombke - he will only be using his camping site through Thursday 7/26. Contact him directly to coordinate usage (ddddsp1@juno.com). I just sent the updated info to Tim so he'll probably get the website current tonight. My RV-10 has been flying since last August. Since then I have relocated the GPS antenna, added a backup electrical bus, changed out the ELT, and changed out the solid state gyro. Now the two tubes I provided are stuffed full. Looking back I should have added one tube on each side just to handle the unknowns. If they remain empty ... so be it.
