The only resistors associated with my senders is the variable resistance through the unit when the arm is moved. The other area of resistors is the resistor used to create the reference voltage, 5 volts IIRC in the EIS circuit. This voltage is applied to the sender and the current flows through it to ground and the arm movement varies unit resistance to give a fuel level indication. Again no resistors in the box and the resistor used to create the reference voltage cam from radio shack. -----Original Message----- From: owner-rv10-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rv10-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of John Gonzalez Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2008 9:24 PM Subject: RV10-List: Fuel senders Does anyone remember getting a 1.5K resistor and a voltage adaptor in the box with the fuel senders which Van's sent to us? Someone is telling me they should have been in the box, but I have absolutely no recollection of these in the blue and black cardboard box the units came in. The wings on most civil aircraft are fairly light and may cause the aircraft to lean in that direction, but wouldn't necessarily touch the ground. I had to pull the right wing on my RV-7, and though I had a support under the left wing, it didn't lean enough to even touch the support.
