Hey Linn, check these out to save you some effort. I'm going to install a model airplane servo in the bottom rib and drive a hinge (maybe like Vic's) at the base of the rudder trailing edge. I'm in the process of designing the pulse width modulator needed to drive the servo as we speak. Almost there. Linn do not archive

I will be heading to New Zealand for a trip of a life time with my wife and daughter at the end of March 2009. I had a wild idea that maybe I could in vite myself and my family to a scenic ride in Neil's Rv10 painted in the sc heme of the Space Shuttle as it re enters earth's atmosphere. I know we wil l have way too much to see in the seventeen days we will be there=2C we wil l be planning on more time in the south than in the north but we will be in both places. Since my 10 is in that 90 percent completed=2C 90% to go stat e=2C what better way to give the family a preview and what better way would there be to see some of New Zealand's beauty. What say you????Merry Christ mas and happy holidays to you all...sorry for inviting myself and doing it publicly=2C but I don't have the email address.John Gonzalez=2C Do Not Arch ive

Hi John & family And any others wanting to come to NZ. You are welcome to come & visit. But beware - we will have 6 children by then! The 6th is due any day now. We are 2 hours N of Wellington, on the main drag North. 17 days is certainly not enough to see all NZ, but you can do the good bits. If you are here for easter, don't miss the Classic Fighters WW1 airshow at Omaka. Of course, here in NZ we are famous for the worlds first fly in & air display each year, 1st January at a farm near Woodville. Neil & Sarah + co... Thanks Michael!!! Like most things for sale, there's profit in the $50 for their unit .... a lot of profit ..... and most all of the parts were in my parts bin. I've got the ckt working already ..... only a few parts I need to order since some of the values I could come close with. The other item I have is the ability to do the design, which a lot of builders don't, and it's fun for me. When it's done I'll publish the schematic and parts list ..... the shipping would be more than the parts!!! I re-read my post, and apologize if anyone thinks I'm knocking the Perihelion design .... I'm not. It really does more than my circuit does .... but for me, I don't see the need. For the elegance and small package you pay the bucks. Read the 'more information' PDF and you'll see what I mean. He mentions removing the power ..... and that got me to thinking (bad thing)that having a pushbutton on the control would be better than letting the unit sit powered up for hours when you only use it for a few seconds to set the trim. Hmmm .... back to the catalog!!!! Linn do not archive Thanks Michael!!!
