I just helped get a quote on insurance for a friend's RV-10. He is a
300-hr IFR-rated private pilot. With a required 5 hours dual, AIG quoted
$4,500 and Global quoted $3,000, both including $200K hull coverage. EAA
and AOPA discounts were given, I believe, as well as the discount for
having advanced instrumentation.
