I had to put a 1/4 watt 300 ohm resistor from the audio output from SL40 to input from intercom. regards Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: "Deems Davis" Sent: Saturday, May 23, 2009 9:38 AM Subject: RV10-List: Comm 2 volume Very low > > My Com2 Garmin SL40 which is connected through a Garmin 340 audio panel > produces only a fraction of the volume, that the Com1 SL 30 does. Surely not the problem with the garmin audio panel. Deems, if you have a pin extractor, try swapping the SL 30 to com2 input, and the SL40 to com1 input, on the audio panel. If the problem stays with the SL40, then the problem is there. If the problem switches to the SL30, then the problem is in the audio panel. That will give you a starting point. But check the easy things first, like the setup menus. -------- Bob Turner RV-10 QB Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=245080#245080 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 03:28:12 PM PST US From: "Chris and Susie" Subject: Re: RV10-List: Re: Comm 2 volume Very low Your probably right Bob. Hopefully with the US Dollar continualy dropping I will be able to upgrade to a better panel shortly.
