Thanks to Myron & Evelyn for hosting the -10 Group at "The Nest." It was wonderful to see old -10 List friends & meet new ones. We should have got a group photo but most of us could not stop eating! My favorite modification I saw all week was the chocolate on top of the Rice Crispy Marshmallow Treats. Very stealth like as they were only visible for a minute before they disappeared! For the -10 builders keep turning those pages, the plane is worth the effort. Friday morning I flew from the west coast of central California to the southern third of Arizona in 2 hours 45 minutes (9,500') a trip Google Map says should take about 12.5 hours in a car. All this while catching up on some books on tape and flying direct over Big Bear lake, a beam Palm Springs and The Salton Sea. The RV just gobbles up landscape keeping its occupants in comfort and entertained. On my Garmin display I didn't really realize how the same length flight would have put me 1/3 down the length of Baja Mexico. Another leg or two in any direction (except west) would place me in any number of interesting places to see & visit. Keep building, it's worth it. It was a great show and a lot of fun. Packing up I found a small camera in a brown case. Call me so I can get it to you. Looking forward to the third and last next year. Great Job (Again!) Myron. The Carne Asada was 'to die for'. The 'Nest' turned up 2 'new' -10 builders that live here in the PHX valley. They've been somewhat stealth up til now, but not anymore! Their projects are well advanced. Deems Davis N519PJ www.deemsrv10.com Kelly McMullen wrote: > > Thanks Myron. Was a great lunch, great to meet more 10 builders.
