Tim,
Obviously you are upset. Although I am not sure why. I do not want to upset you
any further, but I do want to ask you to please reconsider shutting down the
builder's section of your site. It was and could continue to be a great resource
for those of us still following in your footsteps. There is some TERRIFIC
info there. Please reconsider.

Hi Rene
Stien sells a cable for providing EFIS access. What I would like to do is
mount a couple of USB ports that provide power only to USB powered devices
such as an IPhone. There would be no connectivity, just power.
Cheers
Les

Les,
You could just get a couple of these from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/Mini-Car-Cigarette-Lighter-to-USB-Charger-Adapter-f-MP3_W0QQitemZ150424165829QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPDA_Accessories?hash=item2305fa9dc5
Remove the electronics and connect it to Stein's cable. Or use the whole thing
as it is in a cigarette lighter socket.
I got one of those cables that Stein sells but with dual USB ports. Don't rember
where i got it from, but if you need it, let me know and I'll look into it.

You can get lighter to USB adapters like that almost anywhere nowadays. Wire for
12v lighter sockets and you will be future proof.

Subject: | AHRS and Magnetometer location on the 10 |
I don't get it. I read the G3x installation manual and noticed the bracket they
use to mount the magnetometer goes on the aft deck in front of the horizontal.
Later it suggest to keep it at least 10 feet from any motor or servo. The
elevator trim servo is right under the aft deck so I don't get it. Would it
be better in the wing opposite the one with the aileron servo?
It is a GMU 44. I plan on mounting the AHRS over the battery up high but again
the manual suggests to mount it no more than 6.5 feet from the cg.

I could be wrong, but I believe Tim wanted to limit access to the
plans pages to those that have registered with him with builder
numbers. So direct linking is not appropriate, if I understand
correctly...copy right issues, etc.

Subject: | New Latch Final Assembly |
I finished one door today with the new latch and just want to say how cool I think
this system is.
Hopefully the video shows how nice this works.
There are a couple more pictures and information here.
