I am totally in agreement with Myron on this issue. I used my Uflymike for my last three or four years as a gainfully employed pilot and have continued to use them in my RV-10 as a retired airport bum. Be disciplined about putting in a new battery on some kind of schedule and be aware of the warnings you get when the battery is getting low, and it is great. Best headset combo I have ever used in 40+ years of flying. -------- David Maib RV-10 #40559 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=291675#291675

Does anybody have a caliper and access to their uninstalled firewall (or good access to an edge in there somewhere) that could give me the thickness of the SS sheet used for the FW? Thanks. Jesse Saint Saint Aviation, Inc. jesse@saintaviation.com Cell: 352-427-0285 Fax: 815-377-3694

Jesse 0.018" thick or just over 1/64". I am not sure about the alloy, but my guess would be 303 or 304. Hope this helps.
