| Subject: | Accommodation at Aurora / Vans for a night & also Leadville |
Can any please suggest somewhere for my wife & I to stay for a night
or two, sometime around 19-21 July with our RV10 (depending upon
weather) while we visit Vans and the Spruce Goose museum. Someone did
offer a couple of years ago, & I'm sorry but I've lost the details.
We plan to arrive early afternoon & visit Vans, then next day to the
Spruce Goose, and will be leaving early next morning to Salt Lake City
(via Mt St Helens).
We're also looking for recommendations for Leadville for a night.
If things go according to plan, we'll see you all at Osh.

I am again offering beds in the classic brick Oshkosh house that I rent
each year. The house comes with B&B style beds, central air for those
hot or humid nights, newly remodeled kitchen, HDTV (with video input for
your daily shots), fresh towels, cold beer and toiletry service. I will
transport campers each day to/from Airventure 2010. Available from
Saturday, July 24th through Sunday, August 1 for $250 per occupant =
nine days.
Send me a email with your phone number and I will promptly callback to
secure your First Class accomodations. It is way beyond, camping in a
tent or staying in a Dorm at UW-OSH.

Robin noticed, so to head off rabid speculation, we installed in our
airplane a Magnum ballistic parachute system. The chutes (2) and rocket
(1) live on the starboard side of the baggage compartment and fire
through the roof. Two riser cables lead from there along the sides to
brackets on the spar at the wing roots, while one cable goes over the
top to a bracket at the nose gear/motor mount interface.
It only probably added a year to the project to engineer and install
that . . .

Way to go Tim!
Keep us posted on how she flies and if there is something to the heavy wing other
than heavy pilot.
It's a great feeling and you must be 300 and something flying 10s.
