Subject: RV10-List: Secret Weapon
Robin noticed, so to head off rabid speculation, we installed in our
airplane a Magnum ballistic parachute system. The chutes (2) and rocket (1)
live on the starboard side of the baggage compartment and fire through the
roof. Two riser cables lead from there along the sides to brackets on the
spar at the wing roots, while one cable goes over the top to a bracket at
the nose gear/motor mount interface.
It only probably added a year to the project to engineer and install that .

Sorry I can't help with lodging in OR. Were you able to get clearance
to fly the Grand Canyon? Judy and I are planning on departing Phoenix
Very early am on Fri. Jul 23. Weather permitting we're going to head
north and then cross the Rockies at LaVeta pass Colorado. We'll probably
spend the night somewhere along the way, and then arrive OSH Sat Jul 24.
Would love to hook up and fly part of the way with you guys, below are
our cell phone numbers.
