I don't recommend sharing this with non-pilots without first viewing
yourself. Nice presentation of a compelling story.
Them Beavers are tough!

You know, the latest AOPA magazine is pretty good too. Better than
most. First Sport Pilot now AOPA seems to have kicked it up a notch -
on paper and on the Web. Good show.

Bob=2C the Gipson's made it to Iowa City Thursday afternoon as planned. No
w seems weather into Oshkosh is problematic today and from what I've been r
eading there's plenty of water around the airport. Parking my RV10 is a co
ncern as well as pitching a tent at HQ. Since this is our first trip to "T
he Show" any recommendations are welcome.
Choices as we've thought of:
1. Stay here (Iowa City) until situation clears up.
2. Leave plane here and drive up. Tent camp.
3. Leave plane here and drive up and find other accommodations.

If you can get into OSH by air you will almost certainly be fine, it's a
big airport with lots of options and hard surface. I'm reasonably certain
that they can accommodate your aircraft parking temporarily should HBP be c
ompletely flooded out, which I doubt. When the weather is good enough for
you, head on up. Rain should be ending for the day shortly.

Bob, the Gipson's made it to Iowa City Thursday afternoon as planned. Now
seems weather into Oshkosh is problematic today and from what I've been rea
ding there's plenty of water around the airport. Parking my RV10 is a conc
ern as well as pitching a tent at HQ. Since this is our first trip to "The
Show" any recommendations are welcome.
Choices as we've thought of:
1. Stay here (Iowa City) until situation clears up.
2. Leave plane here and drive up. Tent camp.
3. Leave plane here and drive up and find other accommodations.

Sara and I will be leaving Houston in the morning and should be at OSH in
the afternoon. We'll bring our swimsuits and floaties for Landon.
I heard this is the first year they're going to reposition the seaplane base
onto the field. That's going to be pretty cool to see a SeaRey in Aeroshell
square!
See you tomorrow,
Phil

Hi Richard,
Yes you certainly can turn off cell data independently
in an iPhone.
Why bother, when has the FCC sought to investigate
or prosecute cell use in GA.

Need some help guys.
Can anyone tell me what the resistance values of a grounded flo-scan unit
are?
I only need the standing resistance values for wire identification reasons
only since I stupidly made them all white when I extended through to the
panel.
I know which is the ground wire.
Any help appreciated as I'm get a zero reading from the flo scan and need to
identify where the problem is.
So far the harness checks out o.k.
